This dinnerware is trendy, useful, and sturdy. I love it. My only complaint is that I cant find a completer set to match it.

Calphalon Bakeware Set
Thursday, 22 September 2011
I dont have much luck with non stick products as the non stick finish never seems to last. I purchased several sets because the price was cheap enough that I figure that I would just throw them away after the finish wears off. It came in just in time for all the holiday baking and so far its been working great but then again its only been a month! The bakeware is a little lighter than I expected.
Sticking may become an issue

Great minds think alike. I bought this set for my daughter for Xmas and oddly she bought the exact same set for me for Xmas.
To begin with I was in love with this set. But I am keeping a close eye on it. It seems that the more I use the pans, items are beginning to stick to the bottoms.
I have never put these in the dishwasher….always washed by hand and dried immediately. I have also never used any type of cooking spray on them as I find this tends to ruin pans and make them impossible to clean.
I am hoping this doesnt become a problem in the future, as I really do like the set. It seems well constructed and well worth the money. My pans are calphalon also and I wouldnt trade them for anything.
Cake pans are small ones and so are the bread pans…not full size.
Hot Pan
Tuesday, 20 September 2011
This pan is quality of the first order. It replaces one that was top of the line from over twenty years ago that I thought still did a terrific job. No comparison, the oil layer in the pan holds the heat steady so the pan does not seem to be turning off and on all the time. Also the steam release in the lid keep that infernal sputtering all over the counter from happening as the lid doesnt jump around as steam is released. First time out fried chicken to perfection!!
Extremely Happy & Satisfied w/ This beautiful Appliance!

I have only had my Cuisinart Electric Skillet for approx. two weeks, but have used it almost every day since receiving it! I love it! Very easy to clean, nothing sticks to it. I have fried chicken twice in it, and it did a wonderful job of it. The chicken fried evenly and got very brown and crusty but no burning. I have fried pork chops in it, and it was the same, cooked perfectly. I have found it fries bacon much better and more evenly than trying to do it on my stove and so much easier to clean up because it doesnt spatter as badly as cooking in a more shallow skillet. Plus, my stove top is smooth glass and frying on it is always messy and causes the grease to burn onto it and then has to be cleaned with special glasstop cleanser, so I dont make a mess on my stove when I use the skillet. I cooked hamburgers in it yesterday and they were delicious, browned on the outside but juicy inside. The best I have cooked in a long time. I cannot praise this skillet enough! I have been searching for a 16-in. electric skillet for the past year but every one that I would find listed on Amazon (which is the same selection, or even better selection) than I would find in a local department store, and as I always read customer reviews before I buy (I feel this is the best way to find out about any product before actually buying and using it, from people who have it and have used it) they all had some bad features, either in the design or workmanship, and in the case of Rival, not good customer service. So I stayed away from every brand that I read about for the 16 in. elec. skillets. Then, just recently, I was checking out the food network website and noticed this oval shaped one by Cuisinart that they offered, and though the price was the same as on amazon, I went with amazon because of the free shipping. I was also hoping that amazon would have a few customer reviews for me to read so I could see how others either liked or disliked the skillet, but alas, there were none! I guess it is too new yet to have many customer reviews. Though it is not quite the 16 inches that I was looking for, the 15X12 size has proven to be just as good, it easily holds a whole chicken without crowding. The one inch differenc wasnt enough to stop me from buying it. I knew Cuisinart was a very good brand, so I trusted the name, and took a chance and I am so happy that I did. It is pure joy to cook in this skillet. I havent even put it away since I have had it, as I use it almost every day, I just keep it sitting on the end of my counter in the kitchen, where I use it. The only criticism I could offer is the shortness of the cord, but I have found this is true with every electric skillet that I have looked at, and was true with my old one that I gave my daughter when I purchased this one. It seems you cant wear electric skillets out, as I had that one for about 25 years! But back to the short cord. I think it is a safety feature so that you wont get caught in the electric cord and pull the skillet off the counter or table and cause burns to yourself or damage the skillet. And thankfully, the cord is just long enough to reach the outlet on the down-side of my counter top without having to use an extension. If I used it close to a wall with a wall socket, it would reach even better. But since I dont have a lot of counter space and the counter top range takes up so much of my space, it is more convenient for me to have it at the end of the counter top. And it is worth every penny of the hundred dollar price! I highly recommend it.
Smokey Joe Exceeds Most Grilling Needs
Sunday, 18 September 2011
The smaller sized Weber kettle comes through with all the quality and performance as its larger big brothers. For hamburgers, medium steaks, shish-kabobs, and small family get-togethers, the Smokey Joe lives up to its family name. Food is prepared to your liking in quick order and domed cover returns heat from charcoal to cook evenly and retained heat and adjustable vents on top and bottom greatly reduces flare-up. Best way to start charcoal with this unit, is with electric starter, and only drawback we found is accumulation of ash in bottom of grill after a few uses. Cleans up easily, and 14″ grilling surface is able to meet most needs.
The Perfect Compact Grill!
Saturday, 17 September 2011
If youre short on space, cooking for only 2 people or grill only a couple of times a year, this will be the perfect grill! Youll get the same exceptional cooking results and flavors with Smokey Joe as you would with the larger Weber charcoal grills. This extremely durable grill is an outstanding value, and also makes an ideal “second grill” for those with larger Webers who wish to cook items using “direct-heat” and “indirect-heat” at the same time. Not only does Weber provide great recipes in the owners manual, they also have additional recipes on their Web site at www.weber.com! Love my Weber Smokey Joe and wont part with it or stop using it even though I also now have the “One-Touch Silver”.
